Which BaseSpace apps and features use Illumina Connected Analytics
Illumina Connected Analytics (ICA) is a cloud-based software platform intended to be used to manage, analyze, and interpret large volumes of multi-omics data in a secure, scalable, and flexible environment. With BaseSpace utilizing underlying features on ICA, it allows BaseSpace users to take advantage of the features and technology on the ICA platform.
BaseSpace Apps
The following BaseSpace Apps currently perform analysis on ICA:

DRAGEN Reference Builder 4.3.6
DRAGEN Baseline Builder 4.3.6
DRAGEN ICLR WGS (Illumina Complete Long Reads) - All Versions
DRAGEN Microbial Enrichment Plus - All Versions
DRAGEN ICLR Enrichment - All Versions
DRAGEN ILMN cfDNA Prep with Enrichment - All Versions
DRAGEN Imputation 4.2.7
Reference Builder (Instruments) 1.1.0 and higher
Sequencing Runs
The following sequencing runs will utilize ICA, but all files and features are accessible through BaseSpace.
The NovaSeq X/X Plus will connect through BaseSpace and ultimately store the run files on ICA. During login, the NovaSeq X Control software will verify that all BaseSpace and ICA resources are available to make sure no issues occur during run upload.
The NextSeq 1000/2000 will upload sequencing run files directly to BaseSpace. Starting with BCL Convert or DRAGEN 4.2.7 Planned Run Analysis, the FASTQ files and all other downstream analysis files will be stored on ICA.
BaseSpace Resources
When uploading resources through the Resources Tab, the files will be uploaded to ICA so they are accessible for any DRAGEN analysis that is autolaunched. This includes BED files or custom references hashtables.
BaseSpace Transfers
Any runs or projects containing data in ICA may take up to 24 hours to complete transfer. When the transfer is accepted, the items will be immediately visible in the recipients account, but downloading the data or using it as input will be restricted until transfer process has completed.
Data Archive
Archiving any data that is based in ICA cannot currently be archived on BaseSpace. This feature will be enabled in a future version of BaseSpace.
