# Troubleshooting "Unable to update index information of the Library" on the NovaSeq X/X Plus

Users may encounter the following error on the NovaSeq X/X Plus when requeuing the analysis using the local DRAGEN workflows on the instrument and editing the v2 sample sheet is needed.

"*Unable to update index information of the Library because AllowIndexUpdates flag is false.*"

This error results from a discrepancy between the \[Cloud\_Data] and the \[BCLConvert\_Data] sections of the sample sheet. Users often edit the \[BCLConvert\_Data] section only, resulting in this error. While the error can be resolved by editing both sections, this is can be a difficult workaround.

It is recommended to instead **create a new sample sheet in Run Planning**, which will update both sections automatically. The user can import the original sample sheet into the BaseSpace Run Planning User Interface (UI), then make the appropriate edits and export the corrected sample sheet.

**Use the new sample sheet** when requeuing the analysis on the instrument using the local DRAGEN workflows. See [How to requeue analysis on the NovaSeq X/X Plus](/instrumentation/novaseq-x-x-plus/instrumentation-novaseq-x-x-plus-troubleshooting-list/000007765.md) for more information.
