# How to navigate to TeamViewer on the NextSeq 1000/2000

TeamViewer installation is performed during system installation by the Illumina field team. If the TeamViewer desktop shortcut is not available on the system, follow the guide below to open TeamViewer. There are four options available to access TeamViewer on the system.

First, minimize the control software by selecting the Menu icon in the upper left, then select **Minimize Application**.\

**Option 1:** The teamViewer Icon is available on the desktop.

Select the icon to launch the application. Provide Illumina Technical Support with the ID and password to connect remotely.\

**Option 2:** The teamviewerqs folder is available on the desktop.

Select the **teamviewerqs** folder and launch the application by opening the **teamviewer** file. Provide Illumina Technical Support with the ID and password to connect remotely.\

**Option 3:** The teamviewerqs folder is available in the Downloads folder.

Open the **Downloads** folder by selecting **Places**, in the top left, and choosing **Downloads.** Navigate to the **teamviewerqs** folder within the **Downloads** folder.Open the folder and launch the app by selecting the **teamviewer** file. Provide Illumina Technical Support with the ID and password to connect remotely.\

**Option 4:** TeamViewer is listed under Applications > Internet.

Open **Applications,** and from the dropdown list, select **Internet**. Select the icon to launch the app. Provide Illumina Technical Support with the ID and password to connect remotely.\
