# How to enable email notifications on the MiSeq

The MiSeq allows users to receive email notifications when errors occur or when analysis on-instrument completes. To enable email notifications on the MiSeq:

1. Navigate to the top-left corner and select the **Menu** Icon.
2. Select **System Settings**.
3. Select the **Email Notifications** tab.
4. Select the desired notifications and enter the appropriate email address(es).
5. Select **Save**.
