**Capture and wash best practices**

* Verify use of correct bead type: **SMB**
* Use bead handling best practices
* Preheat microheating system and EEW reagent
* **Thermal cycler must run continuously** throughout capture and washes
* Prepare fresh Elution Master Mix (with HP3)
* Be sure to use **heated washes** to remove non-specific binding from the bead
