# How many samples can be prepared with the Respiratory Pathogen ID/AMR Enrichment Panel (RPIP) Kit?

The [Respiratory Pathogen ID/AMR Enrichment Panel (RPIP) Kit](https://www.illumina.com/products/by-type/sequencing-kits/library-prep-kits/respiratory-pathogen-id-panel.html) contains sufficient reagents for **32 enrichment reactions**.

* If **1-plex** enrichment is used, this kit can prepare **32 samples** into final, enriched libraries.
* If **3-plex** enrichment reactions are used, this kit can prepare **96 samples** into final, enriched libraries.

For more information on enrichment plexity, search for Knowledge Base article **Understanding library pooling for Illumina DNA enrichment kits**.
