# Does TruSight Oncology 500 (TSO500) use a segmentation algorithm to determine the genomic coordinates of a copy number call?

No, TSO500 does not use a segmentation algorithm to assess CNV events, rather they are derived from a CNV resource BED file included in the installation of the software. The boundaries of the BED file are used to determine the interval boundaries used by the CNV caller.
