# What is the correct format for DRAGEN Array IDAT CSV Sample Sheet?

The DRAGEN Array IDAT CSV sample sheet is file that contains only two columns of data:\
**beadChipName:** Beadchip barcode\
**sampleSectionName:** Beadchip position

Refer to following example:\
![](/files/FqAC1E4i7R9Z5iGkpvaZ)

When using DRAGEN Array (cloud or local), a sample sheet is optional.

**Note:** The DRAGEN Array CSV sample sheet format is different from the GenomeStudio CSV sample sheet format. The GenomeStudio sample sheet can contain additional columns of data and is intended for use with GenomeStudio software analysis only. However, the guidance for formatting the 12-digit beadchip barcodes applies to both DRAGEN Array and GenomeStudio CSV sample sheet.
