Air filter replacement on the NovaSeq X Series

The NovaSeq X Series air filter is single use and covers the intake fan in the bottom drawer in the front of the instrument. A clean filter ensures proper cooling and prevents debris from entering the system.

  2. Select Settings, and then select Unlock doors.

  3. On the NovaSeq X Plus, Select both sides. For the NovaSeq X, both sides unlock automatically.

  1. Press and hold the latch under the air filter drawer.

  2. Pull the filter drawer open

    1. Note: is not necessary to fully extend the drawer.

  3. Remove the used air filter and discard.
