Troubleshooting "RunCopyService executable does not exist" error in MiniSeq Control Software 1.3.1
Users running MiniSeq Control Software Version 1.3.1 may see a message that the RunCopyService executable does not exist. This occurs if RunCopyService was not successfully installed with the Control Software.
Troubleshooting steps:
Navigate to C:\Illumina\RunCopyService\
Verify that RunCopyService.exe exists in this location.
If the .exe file does not exist, reinstall RunCopyService through the MiniSeq System Suite Installer, available on the Illumina MiniSeq Support Page.
If the .exe file does exist, power cycle the instrument and re-initialize the Control Software. - For further information, search for Knowledge Base article How to Power Cycle the MiniSeq.
If the issue persists, contact Illumina Technical Support.
Note that this issue has been addressed in more current versions of the control software.
