How to Power Cycle the MiSeq i100 Series
Background
You can shut down the MiSeq i100 Series instruments safely when there are no sequencing runs or secondary analyses in progress. Software messages indicate when to shut down and restart the instrument to resolve an error or warning.
If the system does not shut down, contact Illumina Technical Support.
Power Cycling the MiSeq i100 Series Instruments
From the Control Software Home screen, select the menu icon in the upper-left corner.
Select Settings, and then select Shut down.
When prompted, select Yes, shut down instrument.
Wait until the screen is powered off, then toggle the power switch on the back-right corner of the instrument to OFF.
Wait 1-2 minutes, then toggle the power switch on the back-right corner of the instrument to ON.
Wait until the power button on the front-right corner of the instrument illuminates, then press the power button to turn on the MiSeq i100 Series instrument.
