This article reviews how to prepare a bleach solution (sodium hypochlorite) for cleaning Infinium glass back plates and laboratory surfaces and instruments.
Infinium Assay Best Practices / Daily and Weekly Bleaching recommends to use 10% bleach for cleaning Infinium glass back plates and laboratory surfaces and instruments.
Bleach is a 5.25% sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) solution
Source of table: InÂnium Karyomapping Assay Protocol Guide, page 15. * A 10% bleach corresponds to 0.525% sodium hypochlorite, which can be approximated as 0.5% for preparations.
To make 10% bleach solution:
Add for example 100 ml of bleach (5.25% sodium hypochlorite ) to 900 ml DI H2O and mix thoroughly.
