  • Bleach is a 5.25% sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) solution

Source of table: In­nium Karyomapping Assay Protocol Guide, page 15. * A 10% bleach corresponds to 0.525% sodium hypochlorite, which can be approximated as 0.5% for preparations.

To make 10% bleach solution:

  • Add for example 100 ml of bleach (5.25% sodium hypochlorite ) to 900 ml DI H2O and mix thoroughly.
