# Pre run check stalls on flow cell registration after installation of MiniSeq Control Software v2.0

After installing the MiniSeq Control Software Suite v2.0, the first subsequent pre-run checks will take approximately 30 minutes to pass the flow cell registration check. This is expected because the instrument is downloading drives to perform the check. This only affects the first run using the updated Control Software, and users should wait for this to pass on its own.
