# Number of libraries per AmpliSeq for Illumina Library PLUS kit for custom and community panels

Each AmpliSeq custom and community panel contains at least one pool of primer pairs, though each panel may have up to four primer pools to create overlapping amplicons for complete coverage of a target. Panel configurations with three or four primer pools require more DNA and reagents than panels with one or two primer pools.

Refer to the following table for the total number of libraries supported by an AmpliSeq Library PLUS kit based on the number of primer pools.

| AmpliSeq Library PLUS Configuration | Total Number of Libraries Supported (DNA and RNA) | | |
| ----------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------- | ------- | --- |
| 1 or 2 Pools | 3 Pools | 4 Pools | |
| 24 reactions | 24 | 16 | 12 |
| 96 reactions | 96 | 64 | 48 |
| 384 reactions | 384 | 256 | 192 |
