How to switch user accounts on NextSeq 1000/2000

Illumina NextSeq 1000/2000 systems are installed with three account types; standard, adminstrator and root. For more information see Knowledge Base Article User accounts and password management on the NextSeq 1000/2000. To successfully upgrade control software and configure network settings, switch to a Windows administrator. When the instrument is idle:

1. Close the control software, select the power button from the task bar in the upper right.

2. Select Switch User option from the dropdown menu to switch to administrative account.
