# How to Find the Control Software Version on the NextSeq 500/550

**Instructions for finding the control software version on the NextSeq 500/550**

* From the instrument home screen, select **Manage Instrument**.
* Select **About**.
* Find the currently installed control software version next to **Control Software Version**.
