# Editing runs from Run Planning after selection in the NextSeq 1000/2000 control software

For **Cloud** and **Hybrid** run modes on the NextSeq 1000/2000, runs are planned in Run Planning in BaseSpace Sequence Hub (BSSH) and selected from a list of planned runs in NextSeq 1000/2000 control software.

If a run planned in Run Planning must be edited after selection in the NextSeq 1000/2000 control software, exit the run setup on the NextSeq 1000/2000 control software interface and edit the planned run from Run Planning in BSSH.

* It is required to exit out of the planned run on the NextSeq 1000/2000 control software because this will release the run from the locked "Ready to Sequence" state to the editable "Planned" state in Run Planning.
