# Flow cell heater is out of specification error on an iSeq 100

If the iSeq 100 gives a"flow cell heater is out of specification" error, it can indicate an instrument communication issue or a flow cell quality issue. Attempt to restart the iSeq 100 run and use the same consumables. If the error persists, collect the following information and files, and provide them to Illumina Technical Support (<techsupport@illumina.com>).

* Instrument serial number
* Flow cell serial number
* RunParameters.xml file from the run (located in D:\Illumina\SequencingRuns\[run folder]\RunParameters.xml)
* PreRunReport.csv file from the pre-run checks (located in D:\Illumina\iSeq Pre Run Checks\Reports\PreRunReport.\[Date/time].csv

**Technical support will review the above information and provide recommendations on the next steps to take and how to proceed with sequencing.**
