Troubleshooting "Y Stage Initialization Error Operation home failed..." errors on the MiniSeq

MiniSeq Control Software fails to initialize with the following error:

• (33) Operation home failed due to flowcell_y not being able to move to flowcell_y_home =1" and "(66) flowcell_y stopped due to safety_interlock"

This error may be the result of a communication issue on the MiniSeq. To troubleshoot, power cycle the MiniSeq.

To power cycle the MiniSeq:

• From the home screen, select Manage Instrument.

• Select Shutdown Options.

• Select Shut Down (this will shut down software and turn off instrument power).

• Wait 1-2 minutes before powering ON the instrument with the button on the front left of the instrument.

• Wait for the Windows operating system and MiniSeq Control Software to load completely.
