# Troubleshooting "Local Run Manager Error Row was updated or deleted" error on the NextSeq 500/550

Users may notice the following message appear after sequencing is complete: "Local Run Manager Error - Row was updated or deleted by another transaction (or unsaved value mapping was incorrect). Details service unavailable."

This error message indicates a communications error on the instrument and usually does not indicate and impact on run quality or proper run completion.

Once the current process on the instrument is complete, such as the post-run wash, perform a power cycle to reset the instrument's communications systems.

* For further information, search for Knowledge Base article **How to Perform a NextSeq 500/550 Power Cycle**.

If the instrument is unable to re-initialize, contact [Illumina Technical Support](https://www.illumina.com/company/contact-us.html#/united-states/technical-support) for next steps.
