# How to select GenTrain version in GenomeStudio 2.0

The default GenTrain clustering algorithm in GenomeStudio 2.0 is GenTrain 3.0, but older GenTrain versions can be selected for backward compatibility with previous experiments.

To select the clustering algorithm in GenomeStudio 2.0, select Tools > Options > Module > Genotyping:
