NovaSeq 6000 Standard Workflow:
Prolonged staging time between denaturation and the start of the sequencing run can cause denatured libraries to reanneal, leading to reduced clustering efficiency.
NovaSeq 6000 Xp Workflow:
Prolonged flow cell staging time between ExAmp master mix combination with pooled libraries and the start of the sequencing run can cause increased % occupancy and lower % pass filter. As a general rule, the maximum recommended flow cell staging time is 30 minutes.
For more information, see the technical note, The NovaSeq Xp workflow provides flexibility and control without sacrificing data quality or yield.
