# How many runs can be stored on the iSeq 100?

Run storage is only limited by the iSeq hard drive size. The iSeq 100 has a 240 GB Solid State Drive (SSD), which is broken down into two partitions: 40 GB for the C:\ drive and 200 GB for the D:\ drive.

The approximate size of an output folder of a 300-cycle sequencing run with FASTQ files (currently the largest supported for this instrument) is 2.5 GB. As such, a maximum of 80 runs may be stored on the instrument's D:\ drive, though this number will vary depending upon lab-specific factors and drive usage.

The more Reference Genomes, Thumbnail Images, etc. that are saved on the D:\ drive, the fewer runs that can be stored.

# Agent Instructions: Querying This Documentation

If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter:

```
GET https://knowledge.illumina.com/instrumentation/iseq-100/instrumentation-iseq-100-faq-list/000003060.md?ask=<question>
```

The question should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.
