# How to retrieve the DRAGEN (FPGA) Serial Number for MiSeq i100 Series Systems

### **Background**

In the event of an issue with DRAGEN licenses, it may be necessary to retrieve the FPGA serial number for the MiSeq i100 Series instrument and provide it to Tech Support or Customer Care for assistance with a license reset/update.

From the MiSeq i100 Series Control Software:

1. Log into the Control Software as an **Administrator** user.
2. From the Control Software home screen, select the **dropdown** menu in the top-left corner.
3. Select **Settings**
4. Select **DRAGEN**
5. Select the **License** tab and view the Serial Number.
