# What volume of ExAmp reagent is added by the NovaSeq 6000 during a standard run?

During a standard NovaSeq sequencing run (as opposed to an Xp run), the NovaSeq 6000 adds ExAmp reagents to the flow cell during onboard clustering generation. The volumes of ExAmp reagents added vary by flow cell type. These volumes are **not** listed in the denature and dilute guide, though they can be used to verify the final loading concentrations compared to the starting library pool concentrations.

ExAMP volume added by flow cell type:

* SP/S1: 348.75 µl
* S2: 523 µl
* S4: 1085 µl
