# Pooling recommendations for the AmpliSeq for Illumina Comprehensive Panel v3

The AmpliSeq for Illumina Comprehensive Panel v3 creates libraries from DNA and RNA. Refer to the table below for instrument specific pooling recommendations.

| Instrument and sequencing chemistry | Maximum DNA only | Maximum RNA only | Maximum DNA+RNA | DNA:RNA pooling volume ratio |
| ----------------------------------- | ---------------- | ---------------- | -------------------- | ---------------------------- |
| MiniSeq Mid Output | N/A | 24 | N/A | 25 DNA : 1 RNA |
| MiniSeq High Output | 3 | 80 | 3 (3 DNA + 3 RNA) | |
| MiSeq v2 | N/A | 48 | N/A | |
| MiSeq v3 | 3 | 80 | 3 (3 DNA + 3 RNA) | |
| NextSeq Mid Output | 16 | N/A | 16 (16 DNA + 16 RNA) | |
| NextSeq High Output | 48 | N/A | 48 (48 DNA + 48 RNA) | |

**Note:** the table above is not exhaustive; AmpliSeq for Illumina Comprehensive Panel v3 can be sequenced on other instruments as well. The sequencers listed are selected based on data output per run.

**Note:** The number of samples pooled per run can be increased or decreased to target lower or higher coverage per sample, respectively.
