# Where to find iScan and Tecan serial number stickers in the instruments?
**iScan**
The iScan serial number white sticker is located in the back of the instrument, near the power cord.
On the sticker, the serial number is above the second barcode. The iScan serial number starts with N, followed by a sequence of three or four numbers.
**Tecan**
The Tecan serial number is located on the white sticker inside the instrument, below the syringes.
The serial number is the 10-digit number below the barcode.
