# How to fix inaccurate or inverted touch screen on the NextSeq 500/550

Following the NextSeq 500/550 Windows 10 upgrade, Hard Drive swap or LCD Screen replacement, the touch screen may respond to inputs an unexpected manner. Touch inputs may be inverted. For example, selection at the bottom right hand corner of screen results in click at top left of screen or inaccurate screen calibration.

To resolve this:

1. From the Windows **Start** menu, search for "PenMount Control Panel"
   1. Open the **PenMount Control Panel**
2. Select **PenMount 6000 USB** from the main window
3. Select **Configure**
4. In the new window, open the **Calibrate** tab, then select **Standard Calibration**
5. Follow directions as prompted
6. When the control window reappears, select **OK**, then **OK** again in the next screen to exit
7. Confirm the touch screen is now responding as expected
8. If issue persists, contact [Illumina Technical Support for assistance](https://www.illumina.com/company/contact-us.html#/united-states/technical-support)
