# Pre run checks on the MiniSeq

During the MiniSeq pre-run checks, the instrument will evaluate the following:

* System Checks
  * Doors Closed
  * Consumables Loaded
  * Required Software
  * Instrument Disk Space
  * Network Connection
  * Network Disk Space
* Temperature
  * Temperature Ramp
  * Temperature Sensors
  * Fans
* Imaging System
  * Imaging Limits
  * Z step-and-settle
  * Bit Error Rate
  * Flow Cell Registration
* Reagent Delivery
  * Valve Response
  * Pump

Note: If a pre-run check fails, the reagent cartridge Integrated radio-frequency identification (RFID) is not locked and can be used for a subsequent run.
