How to find sample sheet templates for MiSeq Control Software (MCS) v4.0 Local Run Manager

Illumina Experiment Manager (IEM) generated sample sheets are not compatible with MiSeq Control Software (MCS) v4 Sample Sheet mode Run Setup Option, nor Local Run Manager (LRM).

Create properly formatted sample sheets in two ways:

1. Create a sample sheet within LRM v3 (using the export option).

2. Download template sample sheets from the Illumina website that are compatible with LRM v3.

• To find the correct sample sheet: Use the Module selector.

• Select MiSeq > Select MCS 4.0 > Choose desired module > Select Module Download.

• Edit the sample sheet in Excel, then use for runs performed in 'Sample Sheet' mode.
