# Can a previous MiniSeq run in Local Run Manager v1 be used to create a new run?

No, a new run must be created in Local Run Manager v1 in order to be usable in the MiniSeq Control Software (ie, a new run must be set up in Local Run Manager for each sequencing run performed).\
