How to change passwords for the Control Software accounts on the NovaSeq X Series Instruments

All NovaSeq X Series Control Software User accounts will require a password to login, and this password will need to be updated at regular intervals. Sequencer Operator accounts can update their password when prompted by a password expiration notification. Administrator accounts can reset Sequencer Operator and Administrator account passwords at any time.
When an Administrator resets a password for another User account, the User can sign in using the temporary password and then set their new password.
To reset a Control Software User password:
Initialize the NovaSeq X Series Control Software and log in to an Administrator account.
Select the instrument icon to open the global navigation menu.
Select Settings, and then select Users.
Select the User to edit.
Select Reset password and input a new temporary password for the User account.
The User must enter their temporary password and then create a new password the next time they sign in.
Select Save when finished.
