# Thawing and Stability Guidelines for MiniSeq Reagent Kits

See the following for thawing and stability guidelines for MiniSeq reagent cartridges, flow cells, and hybridization buffer.

**MiniSeq Reagent Cartridge (store at -20°C)**

* Thawing options:
  * Thaw at 37°C in a water bath for 35 minutes; the cartridge is stable for up to 2 hours.
  * Thaw at Room Temperature water bath for 90 minutes; the cartridge is stable for up to 24 hours if moved to 4°C.
  * Thaw at room temperature in air (no water bath) for 5 hours; the cartridge is stable for up to 24 hours if moved to 4°C.
  * Thaw at 2°C to 8°C (fridge) for 18 hours; the cartridge is stable for up to 72 hours at 4°C.
* If reagents need to be stored during troubleshooting, store them at 4°C until ready to run within the stability time frames listed above.

**MiniSeq flow cell (shipped dry, store 2-8°C until use)**

* Let sit for 15-30 minutes at room temperature prior to opening the package.
* The flow cell can be returned to 4°C **once** if unopened.
* Use flow cell within 12 hours once opened.
  * Flow cells are sensitive to moisture; clustering can be negatively impacted if the flow cell package is left open for too long prior to starting a run.

**Hybridization Buffer (5 ml; store at -20°C)**

* Thaw at room temperature and store on ice until ready for use.
