Tested Product Guidance for USB External Storage Devices on the MiSeq i100 Series

Background

The MiSeq i100 Series instruments have a USB 3.0 port that can be used to connect USB storage devices and configure these for use as External Storage when running the instrument.

Illumina Support teams have tested the following list of USB external storage devices and associated peripherals to identify those that are confirmed to work with the MiSeq i100 Series, as well as highlight those that appear to be incompatible with this platform.

Given the large number of USB storage devices on the market, Illumina highly recommends users to purchase the recommended USB Hub below. This can improve compatibility with untested devices, as well as enable users to safely use one or more existing USB 3.0 storage devices with the instrument.

This list should not be viewed as exhaustive and will be updated as further devices are tested.
