# Information on Run Copy Service (RCS) on the MiniSeq

MiniSeq Control Software versions below v2.0 use Real Time Analysis (RTA) 2, with which Run Copy Service handles data transfer to the designated output location.

If data transfer is interrupted, data are stored temporarily on the instrument and will resume transferring automatically once the connection is restored.

If the connection is not restored prior to the run ends, data must be manually moved to the output location.
