# NextSeq 1000/2000 Control Software upgrade from 1.7.0 to 1.7.1 system integration error

After updating the NextSeq 1000/2000 Control Software from version 1.7.0 to version 1.7.1 it will display the error: " An unexpected error has occurred with system integration. Power cycle the instrument per system guide instructions and retry."

This error is an expected part of the update. To finish the update select "Restart Application" and the Control Software will initialize normally.
