This may indicate a communications issue onboard the instrument or may indicate problems with the onboard computer.
To resolve this error, perform a power cycle of the instrument using the power switch on the rear of the instrument. While this is typically not recommended, in this case the option for a normal power cycle will not be available.
- 1.Use the toggle switch at rear right to switch the instrument off.
- 2.Wait 5 minutes with the instrument completely shut down.
- 3.Use the toggle switch to turn the instrument on.
- 4.Once the power button on the right front side of the instrument begins to pulse, press the power button to turn the instrument computer on.
- 5.Log in as normal.
If there are any issues with re-initialization, or the subsequent run freezes or errors out, contact Illumina Technical Support.
