# Troubleshooting emptying the trash in BaseSpace Sequence Hub

There are two options when viewing the Trash in BaseSpace Sequence Hub, indicated in the image below.

![](/files/Rv9TDmxQZ5SgZiWsJj2P)

![](/files/M6wlOSgHGkbywoM3oFW3)\
Is meant for restoring data. To restore data, select the check box(es) next to the item(s) to be restored, then select the **Restore** icon.

* Selecting the restore option without first selecting the data to be restored with the check box ( ![](/files/95xg6P1cHIMbwARvtAtA)\
  ) will result in no data being restored back to the account.

  ![](/files/CHtdzt0nqVhBHCoQqHjU)\
  Is meant for permanently deleting **all** data that is in the Trash. Data cannot be selectively deleted from the Trash (the only option is to delete all data listed in the Trash).
* Selecting a check box ( ![](/files/M1wBna4szm9oHJxeWvs2)\
  ) and then attempting to empty the trash will result in a greyed out **Empty Trash** option.
* The greyed out **Empty Trash** option looks as follows.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://knowledge.illumina.com/software/cloud-software/software-cloud-software-troubleshooting-list/000007563.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
