Where to find the MAC Address for the MiSeq i100 Series
The MAC address is a unique identifier associated with each Network Interface Card (NIC) on each MiSeq i100 Series instrument. The MAC address can be identified in from the following locations:
The Shipping Notification email includes the MAC address for ENP66S0_34 (LAN1).
The Welcome Screen when first initializing the instrument presents the LAN1 MAC address.
The MAC address for the second NIC (LAN2) can be identified in the MiSeq i100 Series Control Software after completing First Time Setup. See the following steps:
Plug in an ethernet cable into the LAN2 (right-most) port on the back of the instrument to activate the LAN2 NIC.
Login to the MiSeq i100 Series Control Software using an Admin account.
From the Home screen, select the dropdown menu in the top-left corner, then select Settings.
Select Network Settings.
The MAC Address is listed under the LAN2 header on the right side of the screen.
