Troubleshooting a NextSeq 500/550 Cavro Syringe Pump error

Background

This error indicates that there is an issue with one of the syringe pumps within the NextSeq 500/550 fluidics system. The error may occur during a sequencing run or a wash.

The error message states: "An error occurred while sequencing. Will now proceed to determining whether to perform a post-run wash. Originally caused by: Error in Fluidics. FlowCellFluidics1.LanePump.IXPassThroughCavroSyringePump2. Auto syringe overload recovery for dispense is not enabled."

Troubleshooting steps:

1. Power cycle the instrument

   2. Note: If a run is in progress, it will NOT be able to be resumed.

2. If there are no issues with control software re-initialization, perform a Manual post-run wash to ensure fluidics is operating normally.
