# Troubleshooting a NextSeq 500/550 Cavro Syringe Pump error

This error indicates that there is an issue with one of the syringe pumps within the NextSeq 500/550 fluidics system. The error may occur during a sequencing run or a wash.

**The error message states**: "*An error occurred while sequencing. Will now proceed to determining whether to perform a post-run wash. Originally caused by: Error in Fluidics. FlowCellFluidics1.LanePump.IXPassThroughCavroSyringePump2. Auto syringe overload recovery for dispense is not enabled.*"
