On June 3, 2024, Illumina introduced the NextSeq 1000/2000 XLEAP-SBS Reagent Kits to replace the standard SBS kits. Existing customers were notified of this future availability in February 2024 via CCN2024-1513. NextSeq 1000/2000 standard SBS Reagent Kits will continue to be delivered with a guaranteed six-month shelf life up until the obsolescence date December 12, 2025 (\*selected kits have extended availability with last order date pending and dependant on product availability). Available XLEAP reagents are available for purchase on Illumina's website [here](https://www.illumina.com/products/by-type/sequencing-kits/cluster-gen-sequencing-reagents/nextseq-1000-2000-reagents.html/).
