End of Life Schedule for NextSeq 1000 / 2000 SBS Standard Consumables

In effort to streamline Illumina's portfolio and ensure we offer the highest quality products, Illumina will be obsoleting all NextSeq 1000/2000 standard SBS reagent kits on December 12, 2025. On June 3, 2024, Illumina introduced the NextSeq 1000/2000 XLEAP-SBS Reagent Kits that to replace the standard SBS kits. Existing customers were notified of this future availability in February 2024 via CCN2024-1513. NextSeq 1000/2000 standard SBS Reagent Kits will continue to be delivered with a guaranteed six-month shelf life up until the obsolescence date.

The last date to place an order for NextSeq 1000/2000 Standard SBS kits is June 30th, 2025 or until inventory is depleted.
