# Troubleshooting NextSeq 1000/2000 eject cartridge prompt remains after ejecting the cartridge

**Background**: After completing a sequencing run, user will eject the used reagent cartridge and select **Close Door** button, but control software will remain at the eject cartridge screen.

Note: This has been noted in NextSeq 1000/2000 control software v1.4.0.

**Troubleshooting:**

* Power cycle the instrument.
