TruSeq Stranded RNA kit storage and freeze/thaw recommendations
How should the Resuspension Buffer (RSB) be stored? The Resuspension Buffer should be stored at -15 to -25°C when first received. After the initial thaw the reagent can be stored at 2 to 8°C for use throughout the protocol.
Can the adapter plate undergo multiple freeze/thaws? How many times? Yes, the adapter plate can undergo freeze/thawing up to 4 times. More freeze thaws of the plates may impair assay performance.
When generating sample numbers below than the full amount that the kit supports, how should the core reagents be aliquoted or freeze/thawed? How many samples per aliquot? The reagents can undergo up to four freeze/thaw cycles. If additional freeze/thaw cycles are required, aliquot the reagents after the initial thaw and refreeze the remaining aliquots to avoid excessive freeze/thaw cycles. When reagents are aliquoted, there may not be enough reagents for the full number of reactions over multiple uses.
