Troubleshooting "Y Stage Initialization Error Operation home failed..." errors on the MiniSeq

MiniSeq Control Software fails to initialize with the following error:
(33) Operation home failed due to flowcell_y not being able to move to flowcell_y_home =1" and "(66) flowcell_y stopped due to safety_interlock"
This error may be the result of a communication issue on the MiniSeq. To troubleshoot, power cycle the MiniSeq.
To power cycle the MiniSeq:
From the home screen, select Manage Instrument.
Select Shutdown Options.
Select Shut Down (this will shut down software and turn off instrument power).
Wait 1-2 minutes before powering ON the instrument with the button on the front left of the instrument.
Wait for the Windows operating system and MiniSeq Control Software to load completely.
If the error replicates after the power cycle, contact Illumina Technical Support for the next steps.
