Reagent stability and thawing for the iSeq 100

After receiving an iSeq 100 reagent shipment, store the reagent cartridge(s) in the freezer at -20°C to -25°C with the arrow pointing up for at least 24 hours before thawing for use. This is required.
There are multiple ways to thaw the reagent cartridge.
If thawed in a room temperature water bath (20°C to 25°C) for a minimum of 6 hours, the cartridge is stable for up to 18 hours in the water bath.*
If thawed in a refrigerator (2°C to 8°C) for a minimum of 36 hours, the cartridge is stable for up to 1 week in the refrigerator.
If thawed in room temperature air (20°C to 25°C) for a minimum of 9 hours, the cartridge is stable up to 18 hours in room temperature air.
Do not thaw iSeq 100 consumables above room temperature.
*If planning on using the water bath thaw method, store the reagent cartridge at -20°C for at least one day before use. If the reagent cartridge is moved directly from dry ice used during shipping to a water bath thaw, this can heat shock the fluidics systems and cause total run failure.
Improper thawing can cause quality issues or complete cluster failures.
Flow cell Preparation
Remove the flow cell from the fridge, set aside the unopened package and allow it to come to room temperature for 10-15 minutes.
Reagents must be used immediately after thawing (within the recommended time ranges described above), and re-freezing reagents is not recommended or supported. The longest thaw time is 1 week at 4°C.
Once the flow cell is opened and removed from the package, it must be used within 24 hours.
