# Information on controls used in TruSight Oncology 500 demo datasets

**Background**

Illumina provides demo datasets for the TruSight Oncology 500 (TSO500) assay and analysis in the [Demo Data](https://basespace.illumina.com/datacentral) section of BaseSpace to allow customers to understand expected outputs and results. Each demo dataset contains commercially available control samples, with some also including internally-derived test samples. In the tables below demo datasets are listed along with the controls used in each.
