# How to check what version of Illumina Connected Multiomics is released

To identify current software version for Illumina Connected Multiomics (ICM):

* Confirm user is logged into ICM
* In the upper right corner of the user interface, select the "?" icon

* The Help ribbon will be displayed, then expand the Release Notes section and select “Latest release notes”

* User will be taken to the Software Release Notes reference page ([link](https://help.multiomics.illumina.com/icm/reference/software-release-notes)) and the latest release will be displayed at the top of the page

  * Example below shows the latest version as ICM 0.6.1 released on 2025 September 23
