# Troubleshooting aborted ICA v2 analyses on BaseSpace

NovaSeq X Series, MiSeq i100 series analysis auto launch and BCL convert app v2.7 and later use **ICAv2** for running analyses. Troubleshooting "aborted" analyses require identifying the correct error from the log files.

**Steps for identifying errors in BCL Convert aborted app sessions in BaseSpace:**

1.Identify the failed analysis session, and navigate to the summary page.

2. Under the Logs section there will be a message that says "Failed step(s) may have caused the analysis to be aborted. View "Failed steps details" for more information." Selected "Failed steps details".
3. In the Step name column, there will be the name of the app session that aborted. For BCL convert it will list: BCLCONVERT\_PARALLEL:BclConvert\_(2). Navigate to "Preview error log"

4. The error that caused the session to abort will be present in this log file.
