Is there a limit to the number of files that can be stored within an Illumina BioInsight Platform Core (Platform Core, formerly, Illumina Connected Analytics (ICA)) project?

There is no hard limit to the number of files that can be stored within a single Platform Core project. However, performance degradation has been observed once the number of files reaches the hundreds of millions (eg, searching for files within the Data tab may become noticeably slower with very high file numbers; slower loading times can be experienced when navigating large directories). These effects are due to the high volume of objects rather than Platform Core‑imposed limit.
