# BaseSpace Command Line Interface upload failure with request signature error

While attempting to upload a run to BaseSpace using the Command Line Interface (CLI), users may experience upload failure partway through the upload. Within the BaseSpace CLI log, the following error may be present:

Upload failed: S3 \[SignatureDoesNotMatch]:The request signature we calculated does not match the signature you provided.

![](/files/H4fziniw0LMfd9OhdmcP)

This error is caused by specific files due to their content and users need to navigate into the folder they are attempting to upload and remove any files with the extension ".snr.csv".

If uploading a MiSeq i100 run, the **Config** folder contains some files that have the "+" sign, which can also cause this error, and users need to remove that folder before the upload.
